OVERVIEW

Welcome to the Global Health Student Course!  A variation of this course has been offered for UC students and residents since 1994.  The Global Health Student Course is offered four times a year, designed especially for our UC COM medical student rotations and integrated with our UC Family Medicine Guatemala Field Experience.  The course is also offered to UC nursing, pharmacy, and other allied health professions students and non-UC students participating in the integrated Guatemala Field Experience.  For more information on the Course, contact Dr. Collins (collindu@ucmail.uc.edu) or, for questions related to the Guatemala Field Experience, contact Dr. O'Dea (odeacj@ucmail.uc.edu) or visit the GH Field Experience page.

Most course topics are now designed as independent learning modules (below).  Live sessions, including the Course Orientation, take place at The Christ Hospital/University of Cincinnati Family Medicine Residency offices located at The Christ Hospital Medical Office Building (Suite 340 Residency Office conference room, Suite 235 FMC conference room), or at The Christ Hospital (The Christ Hospital Nippert Education Center, Hospital A-level, near the cafeteria, or Joint & Spine Center conference rooms).  See the Schedule/Calendar (linked above) for the location of live sessions.
