Welcome to the Endocrinology Elective

The Endocrinology Elective is a 2-week block or longitudinal elective experience at The Christ Hospital Diabetes and Endocrinology Center, working directly with the endocrinologist. The resident will gain experience treating multiple endocrinology disorders, including advanced diabetes care, thyroid disorders (hyper and hypo), low testosterone, OP, parathyroid disorders, and adrenal insufficiency. Dr. Amanda Denney is the specialty lead for the rotation, but the resident will have the opportunity work with several of the endocrinologist. Following this rotation, the resident will feel far more comfortable evaluating and treating common endocrinology disorders and recognizing when to refer.

Please submit a request form if you are interested in this rotation!
