Welcome to the Medical Spanish Elective Page

Description

The Medical Spanish Elective is flexible and can be a longitudinal elective or a two week elective.

Residents are asked to communicate with Dr. O'Dea to discuss how to structure the elective that best meets your needs, considering your goals and previous Spanish experience.

Note: This elective will fulfill the required Global Health and Underserved Selective; This elective could be converted to a longitudinal experience — please discuss with Dr O’Dea at least 3 months before your scheduled elective time begins.

Take a look at this document to get some ideas for ways to improve your Spanish while living in Cincinnati (even if you don’t take an elective!)
