Identify and evaluate your own reasons for travel and global health participation to promote ethical involvement
Recognize key factors in developing effective/valuable short term trips
Describe common pitfalls in short term service trips
List key recommendations of the WEIGHT working group guidelines for academic Global Health programs and field experiences (Example: well-structured programs with reciprocal/equitable benefit; agreements/objectives clarified for senders/hosts, trainees/trainers, sponsors/recipients; etc)
