INSTRUCTIONS:

Read/view the module component items and then take the short survey.

The online component of this topic (the online module) should take around 1 hour to complete.

In addition, student course participants (not R1s) must complete a social determinants of health assignment as it relates to Guatemala. You will work as individuals or in pairs/teams to research and present an assigned topic area. Details for this assignment will be discussed on the first day of the course and are found in the separate course module titled Guatemala Social Determinants of Health (Presentation).

Details about an in-class or field experience session, if scheduled for your course, will be communicated via email as needed from Dr Kiesler or Dr Rich. (See the Social Determinants of Health in Domestic Healthcare module page).
